Bukoba, Tanzania

Bukoba is a 130 year old town located in North Western Tanzania on the Western shores of Lake Victoria, the world's 2nd largest lake. It's a major tourist transit point connecting The Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Mt Kilimanjaro (East of Lake Victoria) to the Gorillas in Uganda & Rwanda including The Big Five in Akagera National Park. Burigi-Chato National Park
The 4th largest national park in Tanzania spanning from the Western shores of Lake Victoria to the Rwandan border. It shares an ecosystem with Akagera National Park in Rwanda.
Rubondo Island National Park
An important breeding ground for both migratory bird and fish species especially Tilapia and Nile perch because for a long time it stood as the only area in the waters of Lake Victoria which was well protected and preserved.
Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park
The park where 3 countries meet at one point. Across the Kagera River from Akagera National Park, Ibanda-Kyerwa Nation Park is endowed with various wild animals such as African Buffalo, Hippos, Leopards and Antelopes like reed buck, roan and birds.
